Bagpipes, Uilleann Pipes, Low Whistle
Eric Rigler's legendary 45-year career on the bagpipes is world-famous. From performing "Amazing Grace" at PRESIDENT REAGAN'S funeral to hundreds of appearances, films and recordings such as "Braveheart," "Titanic," "Men in Black 3," "Cinderella Man," "Austin Powers" to CD's for Phil Collins, Josh Groban, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Rod Stewart to TV's "Outlander," "Black Sails," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Battlestar Galactica," "Crossing Jordan," "The Simpsons," and "South Park," Eric has been called "the most recorded piper in history".
Dirk Freymuth's gifted and diverse artistry on the guitar spans genres from being a member of the Minneapolis power-pop trio, Hindu Rodeo, to Dublin's Baroque Orchestra of Ireland. As a studio player he has recorded for dozens of artists such as Kottonmouth Kings, the Proclaimers, John Gorka and has produced more than fifty albums in a wide variety of styles.
Vocals, Wooden Flute
Scottish-based Irish traditional singer and flute player Nuala Kennedy celebrated ten years as a solo recording artist in 2016. Kennedy is well known for her creative reworking and reimagining of traditional songs. Holding a Masters in Performance and Composition from Newcastle University, and a post-graduate degree in education from the University of Edinburgh, Kennedy enjoys researching traditional song. As a performer, she weds a serious pedigree of musicianship and a deep understanding of the history of her native music, with a light-hearted musical spontaneity.
Jimi Englund is a percussionist, who has performed with a variety of musicians including Stuart Davis, Jeff Arundel, Billy Mclaughlin, Peter Mayer and Lorie Line. He was part of the band Hindu Rodeo and part of the cast of the stage show, STOMP. He has performed on dozens of movie and television soundtracks including, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and "Horton Hears a Who."
Wanda Law does double duty as fiddler and classical violist. Ms. Law has enjoyed playing Irish fiddle for over 20 years. She has a Master's degree in Viola Performance. She was a long-time member of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in Orange County and a member of the San Diego Opera Orchestra. She has been a fulltime member of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra since 2006.
